About our Pastor
... Janet Sutter

Welcome to the Douglass United Methodist Church website. I am glad you have chosen to spend a few moments shopping around to discover our church family. As I describe Douglass United Methodist Church to people, I use words like ‘community’ and ‘family.’

We are people of God who are committed to following Jesus and to share God’s love to all people. As we worship together as a family we sing, pray, and listen to God’s word. We love people outside the church through generosity, invitation, and compassion.

Our hope and prayer are that all people will feel loved and welcomed at Douglass United Methodist Church. And once here, we pray that people will meet God and as a result of meeting God, give their lives to Jesus Christ. We want you to journey with us and experience God’s love and grace. Come as you are. Check us out, but more importantly, seek the truth of God.

While you are browsing our website, you will learn about our programs and get a hint of who we are, but only a hint. We invite you to come to a worship service or to a small group and feel loved and accepted by all that comes when people share time together with the Holy Spirit present. Enjoy the website, then come. We’d love to meet you and get to know you.

In Christ’s Love,
Pastor Janet

The lives we touch...

Our goal is to be like Jesus.

Jesus took care of those in need. He fed the poor, clothed the hungry, and looked out for those who are less fortunate.  Our congregation follows Jesus example and places others first. In addition to our numerous mission projects, we offer bible studies, Sunday worship, various social activities, and loving care.  As you look through our website please consider coming and checking us out.
